Multiple OS in VPS Web Hosting
Our virtual private server solutions come with three Linux distributions that you can choose from for the Operating System of your new server - Debian, Ubuntu and CentOS. Apart from being free, the OSs are really stable and secure and the key reason to offer all three of them is to make sure that you can run each app that you would like, as different pieces of software could have different requirements about the environment they can be used on. Each of the three OSs is supported by a large community of developers who have produced a large number of software packages that you can set up and use on your VPS. In accordance with the Operating System that you choose, you will also be able to choose between three different Control Panels to take care of your hosting content. Of course, if you decide that you need a new OS, we could always re-install the server with it. As an additional upgrade, we also offer you weekly updates of the Operating System for optimum stability and security.
Multiple OS in Dedicated Servers Hosting
We offer three Operating Systems with our dedicated server plans - CentOS, Ubuntu and Debian. They're all different Linux distributions and we offer them not only because they're absolutely free so they will not increase the price of your new web hosting server, but also because they are very stable and secure. Each one of them is supported by a large community of web developers, so you will be able to choose from countless software packages that you may install on your server if the app that you intend to use has specific requirements. The Operating System will also determine what hosting Control Panel you can use since the Control Panels that we offer are compatible with specific OSs only and because we would like to provide you with as much flexibility as possible, we offer a couple of OSs and multiple Control Panels. In case you get a server with a given Operating System, we could change it upon request in the event that it turns out that you'll need alternative one. We will also keep the OS updated on a weekly basis as a part of the optional Managed Services upgrade.
